George E. McDonald Jr.
Operations Manager
732-590-2285
george.mcdonald@ushalonbank.com

George is beginning his fifth year here at Wesco as Operations Manager and is responsible for all warehouse activities. This became his second career, as he took an early retirement from The New York Times after 35 years of service (he started there when he was 9 years old...just kidding!) in production and advertising. They “stole” George after he completed two years of liberal arts and sciences at, then called, Staten Island Community College.

A lot of his free time is spent lovingly caring for his parents, 85 and 87 years young. He is married and the father of two daughters. In his spare time, he enjoys watching sports and tending to his pool in the summers.

By attending and completing three years of technical school, he covered many aspects of the HVAC industry and obtained EPA, Puron, boiler, and NADCA certifications, to name a few. Mark is married and has four wonderful children, who pretty much take up most of his time on the weekends.

Wescat
Extraordinary Cat
wescat@ushalonbank.com

Wescat pretty much hit the lotto the day she walked into the Wesco warehouse, three years ago. She had babies here and the Wesco staff was kind enough to find them all wonderful, loving homes. They even paid to get her spayed; they're so sweet here. They feed her every day, bought her a litter box, and let her roam free to explore all day long. When everyone goes home on Friday, George comes back over the weekend to make sure that she is fed and has fresh water. He's her best friend. Wescat's job at Wesco consists of hiding in boxes, napping, and being an amazing pet. She also takes part in the occasional photo shoot, but that kind of paparazzi just comes with the job. :)
